Our beloved dog Sarge ran out in
front of a vehicle
Tuesday evening and was killed.
Thankfully, he did not suffer.
We are all extremely sad.
Normally he would stay
away from the road.
He spied a woodchuck,
and being the hunter he was,
he set after the woodchuck
directly into the road. :(
Sarge was 3 years old and so much fun.
He came to us as a puppy
after our dog of 16 years,
Buck, passed away.
Sarge loved to chase our cats,
but would never hurt them.
He was a an Avid Steelers fan
(he really had no choice!)
He let the kids do whatever they
wanted with him.
They loved him
and he loved them.
They would rub his belly
and he would cry and whine.
He had a tail wag that was fierce
and made us laugh.
He loved to race Bret and Bekah
back the lane, along the field.
He and Emma loved to play fetch.
He was the official greeter
at the Beauty shop every day.
All our clients loved him
and he often had daily petting
sessions with them.
We will always love you Sarge
and will miss you greatly!
Please enjoy the
pictures of our boy, Sarge!
Steeler's fan!

Just liked to carry
them around in his mouth! :)

His little buddy Duece!
best friends!
and would always do
whatever she was doing.
He even wore leis
for her birthday.
Still had them on
after the sleepover!
I took of him.
Thought he would
be around much longer.
I think dogs should outlive us,
not the otherway around!
blessings~

Oh Leigh Ann I am so sorry about Sarge. That is so sad. Doggies are so much a part of our family's lives. I feel so bad for you guys. Double whammy Bekah away at school and the loss of Sarge. We really need to get together. Call me.
Hugs,
LeAnn:)
P.S. I decided to put the quilt away again, I'm sure I will love it again in the spring.
