Emma's garden.....

Emma has a beautiful garden that her Daddy helps her with. She finished up planting the last of it this afternoon, pumpkins for the fall. Her strawberries are starting to ripen and she has 1 green tomato. We have already had a few delicious salads. Tomorrow night we are going to have the first of her spinach.

Here she is pretending to use the tiller. That's usually her Dad's job.




He told her to go ahead and try it. She went about a foot! LOL!

This year she is growing carrots and celery,

those have never before been planted in one of our gardens.

Someone was telling me tonight that we have to tie up the celery so it blanches.



This is a shot of my Grandma's peonies! I love them for their beauty

and because I got the start from my Grandma many years ago.

They are a wonderful reminder of her and her home.

I just gave a start to Seth and Melanie to plant at their new house

and told them take a start with them if they ever move.

Graduation....

.....was a wonderful celebration of all of Rebekah's accomplishments. We are so thankful for all of our family and friends who were able to come out and celebrate on her special day.

Congrats to our beautiful daughter Rebekah and our nephew Carl, we are so proud of you both.
