1996 called and wants it's wallpaper back....

This is the paper that has been in
my Hair Salon since 1996,
my kids told me it had to go.
I still like it.
Or that's what I kept telling myself,
I now believe I just didn't want
to go to the hassle of
stripping all of it off to redo.
Well, I agree that the time has come...
and guess what....
we are painting right
over the wallpaper.
I was nervous at first but it is
actually going to be beautiful!
I even have Bekah, Emma and
her BFF helping out.
and hubby is helping with
B &B.
I don't see any seams now,
do you?
Anyway, We have a little less
than a week to get this finished.
My other 2 stylist are on
vacation. Almost finished with the
walls and will turn my attention
to the flooring
and painting all the furniture,
even the salon and shampoo chairs.

I'll be back with the big reveal...
Blessings..

Ooooo...can't wait to see it! I cannot believe it's been 14 years- no way.
Smart move to paint over. My bedroom wallpaper remove is taking a little drywall with it :(

It looks fantastic! My sister has painted right over the wallpaper in a couple rooms, and as long as you use the right products, it's so much easier than pealing off tons of wallpaper. Wish I had known that 15 years ago.....

So glad I found your blog! I'm getting ready to paint over my bathroom wall paper & I'm interested in finding out what paint you used.

Looking forward to seeing your finished result. : )

Oh I can't wait to see this when you're finished. It's looking good! I think painting over wallpaper is clever! I would hate to strip it!

Hi Leigh, stumbled upon your blog while taking a walk thru the neighborhood. I am from Ohio also.
