Yes, you can paint a vinyl floor!

Before~ coat of primer...
2 coats of paint...


American Accents
Stone spray paint,
color ~ Bleached Stone
2 coats


2 coats of varnish....

After~
I love it!
It really looks like a stone tile!
I want to put on 2-3 more coats
of varnish. After that, I'm making curtains
out of painter's drop cloth and I'll be finished.
I am happy girl!

painting a vinyl floor didn't surprise me! BUT when I saw you SPRAY painted it! I was amazed! you rock! it looks great!
I need to paint my floor, but I don't think I'll be using spray paint. ;)

i've heard of painting vinyl. it looks wonderful and i guess it's durable due to the top coats. you're a maverick!! Yay!
